Leman Lake and Albert Valley

photocrati galleryLeman Lake is about 1-1/2 km from the camp. The colours are very strong as a result of glacial silt in the water. The level is currently very low – despite many thunderstorms in the area this summer. From the lake we continued southeast, out of Banff National Park and into the Albert Valley in British Columbia. This area was logged about 25 years ago and the regrowth has started.
